Self-Directed Services |
|
If your family has a child who receives Supported Living Services from Imagine!, self-directed services may be an option to consider. Self-direction of services allows families to use their preferences and experiences to select services and to have more control in directing funds to reach effective outcomes for an individual with a disability.
Imagine!’s self-directed services offer on-line access to services, as well as itemizing services, descriptions and rates. The family logs in, places orders and directs funds. The advantages of this model include the ease of accessibility and lower Supported Living Counselor costs. The families who are using this on-line system have access to it 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can retrieve information from any place that has internet access.
Self-directed services are tailored for people who are motivated and detail oriented, and are comfortable navigating the many government regulations surrounding Supported Living Services.
