Powerful Tools For Caregivers

This course provides family caregivers with “tools” to increase their self-care and confidence.  Caregivers learn to reduce personal stress, change negative self-talk, clearly express their needs to others, communicate more effectively in challenging situations, deal with difficult feelings, make tough caregiving decisions, and more.  Each participant receives The Caregiver Helpbook:  Powerful Tools for Caregivers.

Course is open to Boulder County residents caring for a relative, partner, or friend age 60 or over (or of any age if the person has dementia).  There is no fee; donations are welcome.  Financial assistance for respite care is available.  Pre-registration is required, at 303-678-6116 or InfoCaregiver@bouldercounty.org.  Enrollment is limited.
