Behavior Analysis in the Classroom

The Autism Society of Boulder County, The Autism Society of Colorado, and Imagine! Behavioral Health Services present: Behavior Analysis in the Classroom

What do educators, behavior specialists, behavior analysts, therapists, paraprofessionals, school psychologists and administrators have in common? As a growing population of students struggles with behavior concerns that make education a challenge, each of these roles has a special contribution to make to behavior support in education. This workshop will approach the challenges of collaborating across disciplines and different levels within the educational system. As we construct environments and teams that set up learners for behavior success, students can get on with the business of learning- and teachers can get on with the business of teaching!

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand systems support
2. Engineering the educational environment
3. Understand the behavioral environment: Putting behavior analysis into the classroom

This workshop is geared towards educators and paraprofessionals. There is no cost to attend, but RSVPs are required.
