Powerful Tools for Caregivers

A 15-hour course that provides family caregivers with tools to increase your self-care and confidence.  Learn how to reduce stress, change negative self-talk, express your needs to others, communicate  effectively in challenging situations, make tough caregiving decisions, deal with difficult feelings, and more.  Handouts, book, and resource info included.

Registration is open to Boulder County residents providing local or long-distance care for a relative, partner, or friend who is 60 or over (or of any age if the person has dementia).  There is no fee (donations welcome), and financial assistance for respite care during class periods is available.  To register or get more info, call 303-678-6116 or email InfoCaregiver@bouldercounty.org.
