Training program for family caregivers of older adults

National Caregiver Training Program

A 21-hour course, taught by a Registered Nurse that helps family caregivers acquire hands-on skills needed to provide safe, confident home care for frail older loved ones.  Learn how to care for someone on bedrest, provide personal care, control infection, manage medications, take vital signs, lift and transfer, and more.  Handouts, book, and resource info included. 

Registration is open to Boulder County residents providing local or long-distance care for a relative, partner, or friend who is 60 or over (or of any age if the person has dementia).  There is
