Leaders Empowering and Developing (LEAD) Training

 

Purpose: to train fifteen (15) individuals to become active civic leaders in the communities of Arapahoe, Adams, Boulder, Denver, Douglas & Jefferson counties.

 

What? Training Opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities andfamily members of children with developmental disabilities

 

When?

First Session: October 19, 2012

(Dinner at 5:30, Session begins at 6:00pm and lasts until 9:00pm)

Start-end dates: October 2012 – June 2013, 3rd Friday of each month)

Special Legislative weekend in March –All day Friday and Saturday (Date to be announced)

A total of eight meetings and a Friday/Saturday weekend in March are required as well as interesting learning activities you will do between sessions. Attendance and participation are required for the success of the leadership development program.
