| Innovations for Children provides out-of-home community services for children ages 5 through 21 with developmental, emotional and behavioral challenges. We also accept at-risk youth and children without disabilities who need intensive services. Foster parents are provided intensive disability-specific training and psychological supports to create a nurturing and caring home and to develop pathways for personal growth, social inclusion and participation, and emotional well-being. We have a commitment to work with all children in a community setting.

Innovations for Children emphasizes a systems-based approach which utilizes multi-agency coordination and cooperation, and which accesses community resources. By partnering with families, educators, behaviorists, psychiatrists and psychologists, Innovations for Children creates individually designed behavioral programs to stabilize and maintain challenging children in community settings and to move the child toward a successful adult life.
Through the pooling of resources, ideas and plans, Innovations for Children provides the most comprehensive services available to children. The dedication and passion of our staff can make a dramatic difference in the lives of the children we serve.
Innovations for Children includes options for a summer day camp and an after-school program. We partner with a certified child care program to provide creative, dynamic and fun programs and classes that are individually tailored to meet the needs of children with developmental, emotional and behavioral challenges.
