Homecare agencies can accommodate virtually all care needs in the home; however, the cost of such care can become unaffordable for many people. Homecare service costs are directly related to the number of care provider hours spent. Reducing the number of provider hours is the only way to reduce costs. Learn about effective technologies and programs that can minimize care hours. These programs include automated delivery of compliance packaged medications, automated pill dispensers, electronic monitoring systems and meal delivery services. The use of technology in senior living communities can increase safety and enhance quality of life for both residents and staff.
